The Mary E Curley teams up with the James Michael Curley School (just behind it on Pershing Street) to offer Kindergarten through 8th grade classes. This lovely Art Deco building is named for the first wife of the infamous Mayor Curley who lived just down the way.
Connolly offers weekly film programs for children.

The Hyde Square Task Force works to enhance the community. Since its founding, the Hyde Square Task Force has developed programs for youth and families that not only help them advance at school or in their careers, but also help create positive relations and opportunities to take pride and action in the community. The programs of the HSTF are developed by residents in response to community needs.
Currently occupying a store front the Hyde Square Task Force is due to move into new office space in the Blessed Sacrament Development occurring a block away.

Thank you for your contribution. You've taken a huge step to making Povo the "word on the street,"
and we appreciate it very much. Because of the complexity of the "wiki text" and code that can be used
on Povo, in order to edit this section in the future you must click the "edit" button to the right of the section
heading (or for the whole page).
